When I was 9 years old, I started to go to guitar classes in the school. I was really, really bad playing it, so a few weeks later I left the class. The next year, I had to go to a different school and music class was obligatory, so I had to resume my guitar learning.
In some way I felt that I played better than the year before, and the teacher made me love music. Then with a lot of practice I started to play guitar pretty well, even I buy a new electric guitar and started a band with some friends.
Learning to play the guitar thought to me that without practice and constancy you can't improve your skills in something. As a life lesson I learned to be patient and practice a lot in something you really like, because no one borns doing everything perfect (well, maybe some people does, like the 0,00001%), even if they are, you must practice and keep your head up on what you do, if you really like to do it.
At present, I don't play too much the guitar, almost nothing, because of time and my studys, but this is something you never forget how to do it, like swimming or riding a bike, maybe you can forget how to play a song, but with practice you can remind.

My favorite subject
As an
architecture student I should enjoy Workshop, and of course I do.
Workshop is the subject where the teacher give you an architecture related commission and every class you work on the classroom and the teacher check your progress on the project, well, there are more than one teacher, they usually works on different fields like plastic arts, graphic expression, graphic typesetting, urbanism and obviously architecture.

This semester we've been working mainly on how we perceive space and the relations between the elements of a place. Also we've worked on the study of planimetry draws and graphics representation. The most important part of Workshop is to draw, sketch and build models on different materials. Something very important too that I've learned on Workshop is to team working, in the future as an architecture you don't work alone, you must work with other professionals of other areas.
So, I really love this class because if I don't, I couldn't keep studying architecture, this is the only subject where you face off architecture as it is, in this class you must apply what you've learned in the rest of subjects like, mathematics, physics, geometry and composition.

Someone I Admire
As an architecture student, I should admire someone inmersed in this field. I admire a lot of people, but this man's field has a great impact on 20th century art development specially on comics and sciece-fiction. This man is Jean Giraud acclaim mostly under the pseudonym of Moebius. He is a very importan person to me because of his drawing style, and his influence on graphics expressions, something very important on architecture and design.
Born as Jean Henri Gaston Giraud in Nogent-sur-Marne, Val-de-Marne, in the suburbs of Paris, on 8 May 1938, after his parents got divorced he moved to his grandmother's house, there he started to read comic books and as school student he writes and draw they first sketches.
He reach famous as a drawer on Blueberry's comic series, he also colaborated with chilean filmaker Alejandro Jodorsky on his graphic novel The Incal. Moebius colaborate as Cinematographic Drawer in very important sci-fi films like Alien, Tron, Willow and The Fifth Element, some of his designs were used also on ships and droids of Star Wars.
He was a great artist, and a very quick drawer and sketcher, in his drawing style, he started to be more synthetic and naturalistic.
Giraud died in Paris, on 10 March 2012, aged 73, after a long battle with cancer.
